what can we learn about humanity?

We can learn from these passages that people will blame god for something that goes wrong in a persons life. We always seem to blame him for everything bad in this world, and when something goes wrong we ask why did you let this happen to me.

 What can we learn about God?

From this passage we learned that God doesnt always do the things that we want to do. He also doesnt always have good things happen to you, he will also make bad things happen to you to test your relationship with him.

What can we learn about relationships?

I learned from this passage that relationships dont always work out. But if it doesnt work out than that just means that God might just have something better for you to turn out in the long run.

What can we learn about Job and his family?

From this passage i learned that Job was scared for his kids in the beggining so he would go make sacrifices for them, which shows that he doesnt have much faith in them. But later on he trusts his new kids and ends up giving them part of his share, even to his daughters.

animal farm

   Last year, i had a best friend which i had for four years. i thought that he was so cool and popular that i started acting like and doing everything lie him. I started to dress like he did. we both skateboarded but i wore walmart jeans all the time and he only wore a skateboarding brand jeans called KREW pants. So, i went out one weekend and bought a bunch of krew pants and started wearing them every day just like he did. then i started to act like him because he was so popular and could get any girl he wanted to, and thats why i started to not only dress like him but to start acting like him. My best friend moved over the summer though and ever since he moved i started to realize that i dont have copy someone to be popular and cool, but just to be myself. I always loved basketball my whole life but he thought that it wasnt cool so i just sort of stopped playing it completely. but now that hes gone i realized how much i love the game and that my life long dream is to go to the nba. I play every day now and have become really good, maybe even good enough to make the vero highschool team. But now that im just myself and play basketball all the time i have come to recieve my own friends that actually like to play basketball.

my trial thoughts

      the trial to me was a good way to see who could stand up in front of an audience and make a speech and try to defend your side of the case. i think that the trial was a fun hands activity. but the one thing that i did not like about the trial was the dead team. i thought the dead team was dumb because why would you want to ofend the american dream. yes, it might have been easier with more examples that its dead, but look you still lost. i think that if you think the american dream is dead than you shouldnt ever have or get it. but, other than that i thought that the trial was defended good both ways.

 Tom Robinson and Mayella Ewell can be viewed as equals. Although they have a bunch of differences they also have similarities. First of all both Tom and Mayella were beaten in their lives Mayella was beaten by her dad and Tom was beaten by most of the people in the white society. they are not only used to beinbg beaten but they are not aware that they arnt treated rightly. they are both so used to it that they are unaware of it. Tom and Mayella are both accustomed to it, Tom by his race, because hes black, and Mayella by her family.

The obvios reason of these differences is the contrast between Mayella and Tom’s thinking.  Mayella, despite of being put down and physically  abused for most of her life, is quite tramatised by the trial. she also is pretty dramatical.  In contrast, Tom is not really a person that speaks alot and is quiet and a kind person, but passionately defiant when his innocence. Also Mayella when she says yes first but then changes her mind and says no.

So, i think that Tom and Mayella are more alike than they are different. They were both beaten for the most of their lives and even though they are different in their personality wise, they are pretty alike if you ask me. i also think that the people in the maycomb society are beggining to realize that black people are black people and white people are white people.

Mockingbirds are important in the story because they help with the point of view theme.  Some people will shoot at them and not even think about it, but when you think of it in a different perspective you realize that they don’t do anything wrong so you have no right to shoot at them.  That is also why it is a sin to kill them, because they don’t do anything wrong.  In the incident between Scout and Uncle Jack, Jack whips Scout without even hearing her side of the story.   This also helps the point of view theme because he learned that he needs to think about what happened through both of the kids eyes before giving out punishment.

I think that the book to kill a mocking bird is going to be about racial stuff like the word nigger, and all about that word. I think that the book to kill a mocking bird is going to be a story about a few main characters that are going to be in the city and will see other white people that will make fun of and beat up and hurt any person that is any what black. But I think that the main characters are going to be the white people that are against any kind or type of racial acts or behavior. Those people are going to probably do something about that and are going to try to stop any person that is racist and any person that makes an act of racism to any black person. Those people are probably going to help martin Luther king jr. try to make the world stop all kinds of any racism, so that the world will be of kindness and peace, were any person that is black will be able togo outside and into the city and the world without any type of fear or without getting beat up or killed because they are black. I think that the book to kill a mocking bird is also going to have a story line to it. Not to be just a book with all facts, but a book that will have a story to it so that it will make it fun to read. That is what I think that the book to kill a mocking bird will be about.

I THINK THAT THE SIGNIFICANCE ABOUT THIS QOUTE IS THAT ITS TALKING ABOUT HOW ALOT OF THE BLACK PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD LIVE IN COUNTIES AND STREET BLOCKS WERE THEY ARE SORT OF POOR AND HOW ITS SAYING THAT IF THEY ARE POOR TO WERE THEY CANT BUY FOOD WHEN THEY GO TO THE STORE THAN DONT COMPLAIN BECAUSE ITS YOURE OWN FAULT. I THINK THAT THIS QUOTE RELATES TO THE BOOK BECAUSE, SOME OF THE CHARACTERS IN THE BOOK ARE LIKE THIS AND THEY SOMEWHAT COMPLAIN BUT ONE KID TELLS THEM TO STOP COMPLAINING. OH, AND MR.AMICO, I COULDNT FIND THE ” NEW POST” SO CAN YOU SHOW ME HOW TO GET TO IT TOMMOROW.
